About
I am an engineer and researcher whose work spans electrical engineering, automation, software, digital systems, and applied research. I currently work at INESC-ID, within its Sustainable Power Systems area, while completing a PhD in Information Sciences and Technologies at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
My current research covers trustworthy digital-health infrastructure, blockchain, decentralized identity, consent, and interoperability. My role at INESC-ID also connects this work with energy systems and the Horizon Europe research ecosystem.
Across industry, academia, and government, I have developed SCADA and automation solutions, managed multidisciplinary engineering and software projects, advised public-sector technology programmes, and contributed to scholarly publishing as an Associate Editor.
